vinyasa to yin yoga
"Vin to Yin" as this class is often called, merges the dynamic energy of Vinyasa, or flow, with the calming stillness of Yin yoga. It combines Vinyasa, synchronizing breath with movement as you flow from pose to pose in the first part of class, to holding passive stretches for the second half of class. You will begin with energized flowing sequences and then settle into deep, restorative seated and reclined Yin poses.
Yin calms the nervous system, supporting healing mentally and emotionally as the physical body responds to stress relief during each session.
This yoga experience caters to both the body's need for movement and relaxation. It's an ideal way to sample a few different classes in one.

Yin Yoga
Yin yoga is a slow-paced and therapeutic style of yoga. Through a series of postures, it creates the space for you to tune into your inner experience, while supporting the body through hydration and mobility of deeper connective tissue, including joints, tendons, ligaments and the fascia network.
Yin is a scientifically based practice to nourish and reset your nervous system, bringing your mind and emotions back into balance.
Yin Yoga is for everyone, the busy minded people, those seeking deeper relaxation and especially those who struggle to quiet the mind. You’ll leave feeling both energized and deeply relaxed.
